E-Commerce Growth for 2011 in Double Digits
I wanted to share with you some projections about the state of E-Commerce in 2011. 2010 holiday numbers made many online retailers very happy (raise your hand if you have more than one flat panel television set at home) and it looks like the trend is going to continue and grow heading into 2011.
A recent article on TechCrunch outlines the growth predicaments by J.P. Morgan:
"The report forecasts that e-commerce revenue will grow to $680 billion worldwide up 18.9 percent from 2010 revenue. Online retail commerce in the U.S. alone will grow 13.2 percent to $187 billion. J.P. Morgan anticipates that global e-commerce revenue will hit a whopping $963 billion by 2013."
With emerging markets in South America, Asia, Europe, and growing consumer confidence for E-Commerce within the United States the market is prime for your products. DevBridge has the technology and expertise to help you reach your target market and claim a piece of this delicious E-Commerce pie. We try not to brag, but here are a couple of accolades worth mentioning to prove my point:
- Ascender Corporation font commerce network revenue quadrupled in 18 months after DevBridge launched a redesigned and optimized website.
- DevBridge launched BisonOffice.com, an online office furniture and supply store, in May 2010. Entered Amazon marketplace on August 2010 and reached $100,000 monthly revenue in September 2010… with 99% satisfaction rating on Amazon. The other 1% are most likely Lithuanians and those guys are never happy.
- SearchFreeFonts.com monthly visitors were doubled from 300,000 to 600,000 in twelve months with the implementation of our SEO strategies and marketing efforts
- During our two year SEO and marketing campaign for GoSarpinos.com unique visitors tripled and online orders increased over ten times. Orders from our office most certainly contributed to that multiplier and our waistlines.
Best of luck in 2011 and let me know if there are any new projects you would like to discuss.
