DevBridge Moves to West Loop, Chicago

I can't say that we consciously note the changes in our everyday ebb and flow of DevBridge life. There are sparks in memory that illuminate significant events, yet time is a parameter that loses definition at this point. It feels like we've been together for a long time; it feels like we do what we do because it's meant to be this way.

Recently we have made a very significant transition, which, in it's primary shape, is simply the move of our office to the city of Chicago. On the surface it is but the change of daily schedule, an alternative mode of transportation, perhaps a wider range of cuisines available for consumption… but at its core the move is symbolic as an emergence from adolescence. Our team is growing, we're working on larger projects, and this is just the beginning.

Development Area

The past couple of weeks have passed in a whirlwind of activity. Being the fiscally responsible team that we are, we moved the office ourselves with the help of a single 22 foot truck. At times such as these I am pretty happy that most of our employees are guys, even if I was worried that Rusla might have a heart attack after hauling a 200 pound lava lamp up the stairs. The dust is settling now, new prints for the office are propped against the walls, waiting to be hung, and we are getting ready for a long holiday weekend.
