This is the second version of a web site we developed for Air Cycle Corporation. Our primary goal was to create a content-rich web site that focused on fluorescent lamp recycling products and services.
This was Air Cycle’s first experience using e-commerce in their business. Now, a couple of years later, they’re running multiple e-commerce portals with millions of dollars in online sales.
Air Cycle’s customers can now review and research company information, product information, recycling services and recycling regulations. Customers can also place online orders or schedule a recycling pickup, using the dynamic online order forms found on the company website.
Air Cycle’s Home page is equipped with promotional boxes that offer visitors glimpses of features available on the website. The Video page contains promotional and training videos as well as a Request for More Information form. The content and functionality of Air Cycle’s web site positions them head and shoulders above their competition in the recycling industry.
We showed Air Cycle how to use e-commerce to sell more of their products, promote more of their limited-time offers, and up-sell customer order totals by adding product accessories to their web site. Air Cycle now uses the online store manager to manage products, customers, orders, and discounts.
