On Sept. 13, we celebrated 'International Programmers' Day' with a gift to the city of Vilnius, Lithuania. Working with the city, we installed a 'phone lane,' a dedicated pedestrian walkway for mobile users. This article details our celebration of programmers in Lithuania and around the globe.

Alisa is a master of all things media. Her long list of accomplishments include freelance PR consultant work for the creative agency NEW!, Lithuanian Kindergarten renovation recommendations book editor with Vilnius Academy of Arts Architecture Faculty and the Ministry of Education and Science, strategic communication consultant for the public figure Benediktas Vanagas, a former colleague of one of the most experienced PR companies in Lithuania Fabula | Hill + Knowlton Strategies, and a TV journalist for the Lithuanian National Television (LRT). Alisa graduated with a Bachelors degree in Political Science from the Institute of International Relations and Political Science. Her job at Devbridge is to align business and communication strategies to drive performance and purpose in external and internal corporate communication.

On International Children's Day, Lithuanian president Dalia Grybauskaite visited Devbridge Group to laud 'Sourcery Academy for Kids,' a free social initiative that provides computer literacy to children, especially those in remote or economically underprivileged areas.
Devbridge was named “Investor of the Year” for 2017 by an organization recognizing its contribution to the Lithuanian economy. In addition to creating 200 Lithuanian jobs, Devbridge provides free technical education in the country.
