Before joining Devbridge, Amelia gained experience and expertise in several areas of business and technology. She spent over eight years at a startup that specialized in consumer research, joining as an intern and then working her way up to become VP of the design department. Amelia went on to work as a freelance designer while pursuing her Master of Information at the University of Toronto. There, she worked as a web accessibility auditor and became a specialist in provincial and international accessibility standards. At Devbridge, Amelia focuses on designing innovative and intuitive products that empower clients and their customers. A self-proclaimed perfectionist, she is obsessed with details and designing best-fit solutions. No matter the problem, Amelia wants to dig deep and learn everything she can to solve it. In other words – she is always seeking mastery.
Amelia is a perpetual student, generally enrolled in one course or another, and researching broad topics of interest. Although she enjoys reading books, her favorite way to learn is through travel. She’s visited 50 countries across 6 continents and is always ready to talk with other avid travelers to exchange stories and learn even more about the world.
Life is an unfoldment, and the further we travel the more truth we can comprehend. To understand the things that are at our door is the best preparation for understanding those that lie beyond.
