Artūras Vitkauskas

Arturas has been working in software development for more than 20 years. His career kicked off back in 1995, when he was still a junior at Vilnius University and began working as a software developer at a thermal power plant. He can’t imagine working in a job that isn’t in IT, though as a child he loved buses and dreamed of being a bus driver — and funnily enough, as a mature developer, he’s now particularly interested in designing and implementing SOA solutions based on service BUS platforms, like NServiceBus.

He finds his motivation in solving non-trivial technical problems, and he couldn’t live without search engines — he’s completely addicted to them. Outside of work, Arturas’s proudest life achievement to date is marrying his lovely wife. His loves watching “The Sopranos” and eating fish and sea food.
