Darius Pavolis

Darius earned both his Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Engineering and his Master’s Degree in Information Technology from Vilnius Technical University. Before joining Devbridge, he worked for over 15 years in the environmental engineering sector, both as a consultant and as a senior engineer. As a Junior Software Engineer at Devbridge he is enthusiastic about being able to contribute to a new field while applying his previous experience and knowledge in problem solving and efficient project workflows. Darius’ professional career also benefits from skills he’s honed through parenting - patience, calm observation, staying optimistic, and both listening and hearing, which are two similar skills that he believes it’s important to distinguish. He not only gains these strengths from parenting his children, but also his motivation to work hard and do well.

In his free time, Darius loves spending time with his family. However, the one thing he always wishes he could do more of is sleep - for that reason, his phone’s alarm clock app is hugely important to him and his productivity. Darius’s other hobbies include authentic Chinese teas - especially vintage ones - ancient history, the nature of Earth, and science overall.
