Funmi did not begin her career in software development until after earning her Bachelor of Laws (LLB). Having always been intrigued by how websites store data, recognize a user, and display personalized messages, Funmi decided to more seriously study software development. She began her foray into the world of technology by enrolling in a coding course where she learned ASP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and SQL. Funmi started her career as a Business Analyst at LexisNexis. Then, as a British Computer Society certified Business Analyst, she worked on digital transformation programs at Debenhams and House of Fraser. Funmi has also worked for Lloyds Banking Group in the Consumer Onboarding team and the Innovation and Strategy team of Group Transformation. Now, Funmi wants to put her talents to use at Devbridge Group to tackle the challenge of translating ambiguous vision into detailed, technically sound backlog by ensuring requirements gathering is as quick and effective as possible so that products can be brought to market quickly. In doing so, she will be putting the Devbridge value of “Make Great Things” into practice here - though the idea behind that value is not new to her, as her mother always instilled in her that anything worth doing is worth doing well. As a working mom, Funmi is busy but is proud of the balance she has been able to strike between career and family. Her personal hobbies include cooking and traveling. Funmi relaxes by watching legal dramas like The Good Wife, The Good Fight, and Suits, and she gets re-energized from Zumba workouts.

If you don't like something, change it. If you can't change it, change your attitude.
