Julius Blankus

Julius Blankus

Principal Software Engineer

Like many students, Julius found homework to be a boring chore. Unlike other students, he set out to find a way to automate the chore. During his quest to avoid homework he discovered programming and attempted to learn coding in an effort to have his computer finish his homework for him.

While that effort ultimately failed and he ended up having to do his homework, Julius didn’t give up on computers completely. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Informatics and now says he enjoys solving all challenges related to technical issues. He also says he couldn’t live without Google, because it’s how all research journeys start. If he hadn’t stayed interested in computers, Julius says he would like to be a chef even though his favorite foods are fairly simple - pizza and beer.
