Job description

Devbridge Group is looking for a strong leader with a solid background marketing professional services in the custom software space. Working alongside practice leads, managing directors and the sales team, you will help build and refine the strategy which enables the company to hit its aggressive growth targets.

We sell highly sophisticated services and the marketing approach must convey the creativity, technical acumen, and raw delivery capacity of one of the leading technology consultancies in Chicago. This role combines strategy definition and execution with responsibility for scaling a team of highly motivated marketing individuals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor the competitive landscape and work with leadership to manage positioning strategy
  • Architect, refine, and execute campaigns targeting C-level executives at Fortune 1000 companies and Tier 1 financial institutions
  • Lead a growing team of marketing professionals
  • Oversee marketing communications and content strategy including newsletters and blog posts
  • Write clear, concise, and intriguing copy to support a variety of marketing initiatives
  • Create brand awareness by applying for industry awards, organizing events, and maintaining a presence in online industry communities
  • Analyze website traffic statistics and visitor behavior to spot trends, increase conversion rates, and grow overall traffic
  • Manage social media presence and recommend new marketing channels to produce leads

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • 7+ year track record of successfully marketing B2B consulting services, ideally with a background in software products
  • Understanding of the software delivery lifecycle; ability to write technical language is highly desired
  • Demonstrated level of understanding around consultative/solution selling approach
  • Awareness of Financial Services, Banking, Technology, and Manufacturing verticals is beneficial
  • Proven history of taking ownership and initiative. Doing, not just talking
  • Exceptional communication skills, organizational, and time management skills
  • BS or BA degree, MBA preferred
