You are eager to work in a billable capacity to help the team sort through ambiguity and identify the best approach. You are a natural at starting strategic conversations with existing and new clients, getting to the essence of their challenges. You thrive on identifying new sales opportunities, and continually look for creative ways to close those opportunities.

In this Associate Director role, you will own a subset of the Chicago office portfolio. This includes ensuring smooth delivery of engagements, growing the portfolio through expanded reach into existing clients and leveraging your network to attract new clients. The Associate Director is a leadership role, with responsibility for driving cross-functional teams and strategically contributing to engagements in a billable capacity. Success in this role will be measured by revenue growth, portfolio profitability, and quality of delivery.


  • Drive revenue, both directly through client engagements, and through leading effective teams that understand client business priorities and unlock opportunities.

  • Identify and resolve client concerns as part of the escalation process, effectively limiting the number of issues which require involvement of the Managing Director.

  • Own relationships with key client stakeholders, managing expectations, crafting effective communication and assist the Managing Director in negotiating contracts.

  • Build effective relationships with the internal teams responsible for supporting the sales and delivery organization.

  • Lead solution architecture for applications in Merchandising domain (one of 5 domains in client’s product engineering organization)

  • Definition and oversight of product architecture principles across domain engineering teams

  • Oversight and guidance in implementation of monitoring, service level agreements and reliability

  • Participate in Technology Advisory Group and contribute to definition and advancement of enterprise-wide engineering best practices.

  • Monitor and provide feedback on team performance as requested by personnel managers and team members.

  • Participate in the hiring of software architects and other senior positions: Team leads, Senior Business Analyst, Lead Test Engineer, Test Engineer, Senior Software Engineer, Software Engineer, Software Architect, DevOps Engineer, Associate Product Manager.


  • Experience as a technical product manager, software architect, sales engineer, professional services consultant or similar role

  • Experience working in an agile, fast-paced and collaborative environment

  • Ability to thrive when multi-tasking, adjusting priorities quickly

  • Demonstrated ability to generate revenue from new and existing accounts

  • Proven history of taking initiative – doing, not just talking

  • Conversant in various software development tools and methodologies

    • Java & JEE stack/frameworks (Spring, Hibernate, Spring Boot) and other programming languages

    • Front-end frameworks (React, Svelte, Angular)

    • Containerization platforms (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift)

    • Cloud technologies (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure)

    • Event-streaming (Kafka)

    • CI/CD, automated testing, monitoring/alerting, software security

  • Ability to speak fluent Lithuanian and English required

This position is based in Chicago, IL. We have a hybrid working model requiring 3 days per week in the office and allowing for 2 days per week remote. This position may require travel up to 20%.
