Job Description
Devbridge highly values video and needs more of it. Our in-house video team is hiring an In-House Video Editor. This person will work directly with our Video Production Manager and the Marketing team, helping to streamline our workflow as we strive to keep up with demands for more content. We shoot videos in a variety of styles (interviews, documentary, green screen, animation). The majority of the job would focused on post-production, with some assistance on video shoots.
We are looking for someone who has plenty of experience with editing and motion graphics as well as great organizational skills and a passion for making videos. Camera and onset experience would be great as well.
This position is based in Chicago.
Key Responsibilities
Edit videos
Create motion graphics and animations
Organize and archive completed projects
Assist on shoots
Organize and maintain Youtube and other social media channels
Requirements
Professional experience with post-production
Video and audio editing, building 2D/3D motion graphics, and an understanding of video codecs
Experienced in sound and color mixing
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere, Illustrator
Strong organizational skills
Able to proactively own & execute designated tasks independently
Resourceful doer with ability to creatively solve problems
Ability to take initiative; work independently across functions
4+ years success in a technical experience with video production
BS or BA degree in digital video, production, or animation (or equivalent experience)
Online portfolio of current work that includes motion graphics and animations
Experience with YouTube and social media video
Knowledge of DSLR photography / lighting equipment is a plus
On set production experience is a plus
BONUS if: You are passionate about and skilled at creating content and planning, shooting and finishing videos, as well as uploading and maintaining a channel online.
MUST be able work on-site at our Chicago office as needed
