We’re looking for someone who really understands selling professional services in the software space. There is no model for you to follow – define your own methods to hit the goals. We sell highly sophisticated services and your approach to selling must convey the creativity, technical acumen, and raw delivery capacity of one of the leading technology consultancies in Chicago.
Key Responsibilities
Participate and engage directly in market-facing activities (e.g., trade associations, boards, conferences and other client-facing activities)
Personally develop and foster relationships with potential clients through personal meetings, presentations, business networking and/or other business or social gatherings
Identify and qualify specific sales opportunities and effectively transition the opportunities to capture teams
Remain current with technology trends and new solutions in the market
Understand the strengths and weaknesses of different technology solutions; effectively articulate Devbridge Group solution offerings and capabilities
Focus is on originating profitable deals that can be successfully closed and delivered as sold
Requirements
7+ years’ experience in: IT software solutions or consulting services
Deep knowledge of software technologies and their role in enterprise applications
Unquestionable integrity, credibility and character
Experience creating and presenting executive level briefings and sales data analysis
Previous experience in conceptualizing, planning, and implementing new products or services for a large business entity
Strong ownership, problem solving, and decision making abilities
