Job Description
Devbridge highly values video and needs more of it. Our in-house video team is hiring a Video Production Assistant to help with creating video content at all stages of development, with an emphasis on post-production. In this role, you will work directly with our Video Production Manager and the Marketing team, helping to streamline our workflow as we strive to keep up with demand for more content. We are looking for a resourceful doer skilled in creative problem-solving.
Responsibilities
Help with various stages of pre-production
Assist on shoots
Key & comp green screen footage
Assist with the post-production process; prep and finishing
Organize and archive completed projects
Organize and maintain Youtube and other social media channels
Requirements
2+ years of success in a technical role with video production, including post-production
Experience with sound and color mixing
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere, and Illustrator
Experience with video and audio editing, building 2D/3D motion graphics, and an understanding of video codecs
Strong organizational skills
Ability to proactively own and execute designated tasks independently
Ability to take initiative and work independently across functions
BS or BA degree in digital video, production, or animation (or equivalent experience)
Online portfolio of current work that includes motion graphics and animations
Experience with YouTube and social media video
Must be able work on-site at our Chicago office as needed
Up to 10% travel may be required when it is safe to do so
Knowledge of DSLR photography / lighting equipment is a plus
On-set production experience is a plus
